The contentious divorce between Josh Elliott and Liz Cho has soured even more.

In court filings, Elliott — who last worked for CBS News in 2017 — claims his estranged wife once “lash[ed] out” at him over grapes.

Cho, a longtime evening ABC anchor in New York, allegedly yelled at Elliott “while he was washing grapes for his daughter’s lunch, exclaiming that the grapes were hers and he was not permitted to put them in the child’s lunch.”

The heated exchange happened “within earshot of the child,” according to the documents obtained by *Page Six*.

Elliott, 54, filed for divorce from Cho, 55, in June 2025 after a decade of marriage. Each has a daughter from a previous relationship: Sabrina, 17, and Louisa, 19, respectively.

In his legal filing from January, two months before the split was first reported, Elliott made several more allegations against his former wife.

He claimed Cho “monitor[ed] and listen[ed] to [his] private phone calls,” “rifl[ed] through [his] personal belongings and closet” and “engag[ed] in a consistent pattern of false accusations and manufactured crisis.”

Elliott indicated his daughter, Sabrina, was also targeted, accusing Cho of “locking doors and shutting off lights on [his] teenage daughter in the evening when it was 14 degrees outside.”

Additionally, the family pets were affected, as Cho would leave their Weston, Conn., home “for extended periods without communication despite the presence of two dogs requiring daily care,” according to Elliott.

The former couple met during Elliott’s tenure at ABC as an anchor on *Good Morning America*, spinoff *Good Afternoon America*, and *ABC World News*, which ended in 2014 when he headed to NBC.

Elliott and Cho said “I do” in a July 2015 intimate garden wedding in Montecito, Calif. “Being that it’s the second marriage for both of us, it’s really a time to take stock in what matters most,” he told PEOPLE.

Sabrina and Louisa both served as flower girls for their parents. “If there’s something to be said for having a chance to do it again,” said Elliott, “it’s the ability to be there with your children and watch them in that moment with you.”
