The Masked Singer is as much about mystery as it is entertainment. After all, clocking someone's voice isn't the only way to guess who's under each oddly decadent mask. Making sense of the performers' clues is part of the fun!
We understand if you'd rather watch every season of The Masked Singer fresh before digging into our list of the U.S. winners. But if you're up to speed, read on for a trip down memory lane and some choice quotes the winners gave to Entertainment Weekly.
Below is every winner of The Masked Singer thus far, as well as what they've been up to since bringing home the gold.

Season 1: T-Pain as Monster

T-Pain, the Grammy-winning rapper and producer, won the first season of The Masked Singer as the cyclopean blue Monster. It was his rendition of Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It" that helped him overcome Peacock (Donny Osmond) and Bee (Gladys Knight).
"I picked the silliest looking one because I thought I was going home on the first episode because I have a real distinct voice," T-Pain later recalled on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "So I feel like if I'm going to embarrass myself, I might as well take it to the highest level."
T-Pain dropped a new album, 1UP, on the same day he won the season, and went on to embrace Twitch, a live-streaming service regularly used by gamers. As of this writing, he has more than 1 million followers.
His latest album is 2023's On Top of the Covers, which features covers of songs by Sam Cooke, Journey, and Black Sabbath. He also claims to have ghostwritten music for country singers, but says he asks to go uncredited due to "racism that comes after it."

Season 2: Wayne Brady as Fox

Comedian Wayne Brady, who's hosted Let's Make a Deal since 2009, won season 2 of The Masked Singer as the top-hatted Fox. His take on Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness" pushed him over the top against finalists Flamingo (Adrienne Bailon-Houghton) and Rottweiler (Chris Daughtry).
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in the aftermath, Brady recalled hiding his identify as Fox. "I kept my circle very tight. Let’s put it this way, my mother didn’t know," he said. "What’s hilarious is, she would give me a text every week and her and her husband would say, 'Wayne, you know that Fox? He’s trying to sound like you sometimes. I know your voice.' But then she’d say something like, 'But I know that’s not you because you sing better than he does.' I’m like, thanks, Mom."
After winning, Brady hosted Fox's Game of Talents, guest-starred on shows like The Good Fight and American Gigolo, and led his own reality show, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix, on Freeform. In 2024, he was nominated for a Grammy as part of the ensemble of the Broadway revival of The Wiz, in which he played the titular wizard. Oh, and he's still hosting Let's Make a Deal.

Season 3: Kandi Burruss as Night Angel

Kandi Burruss beat out titans like Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick on season 3 of The Masked Singer thanks to the Xscape alum's ecstatic renditions of hits like Lil Wayne's "How to Love" and Andra Day's "Rise Up."
"I loved 'How to Love'! I felt like it was kind of risky because my goal through this whole season was to hit every genre of music," she explained to EW following her win. "I was like, 'Let's do a hip-hop record!' I was trying to stay away from songs that had a really low range because people would recognize me right off. In my group Xscape, I always sing the really low parts."
Burruss remained one of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta through 2023, during which time she led a 2022 spinoff, Kandi & The Gang. As an actress, she appeared in episodes of Insecure, The Chi, and Keeping Up With the Joneses, as well as the 2023 Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson, for which she was nominated for a Tony.

Season 4: LeAnn Rimes as Sun

Eagle-eared fans pegged Sun as LeAnn Rimes well before her season 4 win, which saw the two-time Grammy winner taking the lead over Mushroom (Aloe Blacc) and Crocodile (Nick Carter) with a powerful rendition of Brandi Carlile's "The Story."
"I was watching online, and it's so funny, as soon as I opened my mouth, a lot of people knew," Rimes acknowledged to EW following her win. "There was a lot of other guesses that were definitely reasonable guesses, but I think a lot of people definitely did know. I just have been having to bite my tongue for weeks now. It's been so hard, but it's been funny to kind of sit back and watch as it all unfolds."
Rimes has since released two studio albums — 2020's Chant: The Human & the Holy and 2022's God's Work — and began serving as a coach on the U.K. and Australian iterations of The Voice in 2024. The following year, she joined the cast of Fox's 9-1-1: Nashville.

Season 5: Nick Lachey as Piglet

Nick Lachey oinked his way to the top in season 5 of The Masked Singer as Piglet, a costume he told EW was "kind of meant to be."
"I'm from Cincinnati, the City of the Flying Pigs, and they call it Porkopolis, and my production company is Flying Pig Productions, so the pig persona was something that was already very, very, very much in my life," he said. "So I kind of took that as a sign like, all right, this is definitely supposed to happen."
Lachey chased his win by announcing a new single and tour from 98 Degrees, the boy band that made him famous. In 2025, the group announced its latest album, Full Circle.
He's also continued to host Netflix's Love Is Blind alongside his wife, Vanessa. You can catch him overseeing other Netflix dating shows, including The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On and Perfect Match.

Season 6: Jewel as Queen of Hearts

Grammy nominee Jewel embraced multiple genres (and languages) as season 6's Queen of Hearts, ultimately beating out Bull (Todrick Hall) with a one-two punch of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" and Katy Perry's "Firework."
She spoke with EW following her win about how, despite being a "fun, silly pop show," The Masked Singer encourages authenticity.
"It wasn't about my name, and it wasn't about my story, or where I was from or my accent or all those things that aren't really you," she said. "So even though it's so game-ified I just felt like I really sincerely got to be myself, and stand for what I stand for, which is heart and feeling and emotion and connection."
Jewel capitalized on her win with an EP of songs she sang on the competition, and soon released her 13th studio album, Freewheelin' Woman. In 2024, she was invited onstage during a New York City stop of Olivia Rodrigo's Guts World Tour to perform her 1996 single "You Were Meant For Me" with the chart-topper.

Season 7: Teyana Taylor as Firefly

Before she was nominated for an Oscar, Teyana Taylor won season 7 of The Masked Singer as Firefly, beating out Ringmaster (Hayley Orrantia) and Prince (Cheyenne Jackson). By the finale's end, panelists Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Robin Thicke correctly guessed that Firefly was the Grammy-nominated songwriter, actress, and model.
While Taylor continues to release music — her latest album, Escape Room, dropped in 2025 — she shifted her focus to acting following The Masked Singer.

She earned ample acclaim for her performance in 2023's A Thousand and One, getting accolades from the National Board of Review and the Critics' Choice Association Awards. In 2025, she starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in Paul Thomas Anderson's Oscar-winning film One Battle After Another, which scored her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Season 8: Amber Riley as Harp

Glee star Amber Riley, who has a Grammy nomination and a SAG Award to her name, won season 8 of The Masked Singer as Harp. Her competition was stiff, as the finale pit her against a gaggle of Lambs that turned out to be Wilson Phillips.
After her win, Riley spoke with EW about the "challenge" of the competition. "Because I am a performer, I use my whole body to perform. I dance, I use facial expressions, you know, and not being able to connect with people fully and only being able to connect with them through movement and my voice, was actually a great challenge for me," she said. "But I was kind of encouraged to know my voice kind of speaks for itself. And that's not something that I would have been able to discover had I not done the show."
Riley surprised fans by competing on the franchise's U.K. edition in 2023, coming in fourth place as Jellyfish. You can also hear her on the Disney Jr. series Ariel, on which she voices Ursula. The performance earned her a Children's and Family Emmy Award nomination.

Season 9: Bishop Briggs as Medusa

Chart-topping singer Bishop Briggs delivered one of the most memorable finale performances in Masked Singer history with the inspired pairing of My Chemical Romance's "Welcome to the Black Parade" and Sia's "Elastic Heart."
"I am really grateful for adrenaline," the singer told EW. "At the time of filming, I was about five or six months postpartum, and I feel like that sort of delirious energy can sometimes be incredible for vulnerability and being present in the moment. And so I really tried to keep all those things afloat."
Briggs continues to release music, following her win with a 2023 EP called When Everything Went Dark, and in 2024 released a new studio album, Tell My Therapist I'm Fine.

Season 10: Ne-Yo as Cow

R&B legend Ne-Yo took home the Golden Mask Trophy in season 10 by honoring a pair of powerhouse vocalists with his renditions of Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" and Rihanna's "Take a Bow."
It was redemption of a kind for Ne-Yo, who previously made it to the finals of The Masked Singer U.K. before joining the U.S. iteration as Cow. "I did the U.K. version before the American version because I felt like on the American version, I would get caught quicker. People would recognize my voice a little faster," he explained to EW following his win.
Ne-Yo hit the road for his worldwide Champagne and Roses Tour following his win. In 2024, he joined the cast of Starz's BMF and received a Grammy nomination for his contributions to Mary J. Blige's Good Morning Gorgeous. He also shared his polyamorous relationship with the world.

Season 11: Vanessa Hudgens as Goldfish

As with Rimes way back in season 4, many fans —and panelist Rita Ora — were quick to clock Goldfish as High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens.
Hudgens spoke with EW about how Ora, whom she counts as a friend, caught onto her so soon. "I had my first performance, and she guessed it was me, and then I was like, Well, there goes our dinner plans, because I cannot sit at a dinner table and stare at her in the face and not be like, 'Girl,'" she said.
Just a few months after the finale aired in May 2024, Hudgens and her husband, Cole Tucker, welcomed their first child. The couple quickly got back to work, with Hudgens giving birth to their second in November 2025.

Boyz II Men, the vocal harmony hit-makers behind "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," made history as the first group to win The Masked Singer. Buffalo was initially teased as a solo singer, but the arrival of more Buffalo during their first performance revealed them to be a trio.
By the finale, the panelists (and many viewers at home) knew it was four-time Grammy winners Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, and Nathan Morris behind the masks.
Boyz II Men continues to tour as reports circulate about a potential biopic and documentary chronicling the group's rise. They also contributed to a special version of The Simpsons' theme song for the show's 800th episode in February 2026.

Season 13: Gretchen Wilson as Pearl

Grammy-winning country singer Gretchen Wilson won season 13 of The Masked Singer as the crowned, seashell-laden Pearl, beating out Boogie Woogie (Andy Grammer) with a powerhouse take on the Pretenders' "I'll Stand by You." Only panelist Robin Thicke was able to correctly guess Pearl's identity.
It was a particularly emotional finale, as, prior to her unmasking, the panelists surprised the "Redneck Woman" singer with a phone call from her daughter.
Wilson has since announced that she's re-recording her debut album, Here For the Party, with the help of an all-star crew that reportedly includes Miranda Lambert and Travis Tritt. She's also serving as the "tour manager" for CBS's Taylor Sheridan-produced musical competition series The Road.
Most recently, Wilson performed alongside Wynonna, Kimberly Perry, Ann Wilson, and many others at a March 2026 event at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium honoring the late country legend Tammy Wynette.

Season 14: Ashlee Simpson as Galaxy Girl

"Pieces of Me" singer Ashlee Simpson, dolled up as the planet-headed Galaxy Girl, emerged as the winner of season 14 of The Masked Singer. Her take on "Try" by Pink served to rocket her ahead of competitors Pugcasso (Phillip Phillips) and Cat Witch (Kylie Cantrall).
Simpson's win was especially surprising considering her husband, actor and musician Evan Ross, was eliminated earlier in the season as Stingray.
"When we started doing it together, I did not see him. There were so many rules," Simpson told EW. "So I knew my husband was on set, but I didn't know what he was singing or when he was in rehearsal or whatever, because we weren't allowed to see each other."
She did, however, occasionally hear him working on a performance at home. "The idea that both of us were in this secret world at the same time and it was gonna be fun for our kids to see was exciting," she added.
Up next for Simpson, who recently wrapped a Las Vegas residency, are high-profile gigs at Stagecoach and L.A. Pride. Speaking with PEOPLE in February 2026, Ross added that she's hard at work on new music.
