New England Patriots star Rhamondre Stevenson had a close call during a celebrity softball game over the weekend. The running back, 28, collided with comedian Matt Rife during the MayeDay Celebrity Softball Classic, which benefits Patriots quarterback Drake Maye’s MayeDay Family Foundation and the Boston Children’s Hospital. In footage from the game, Rife, 30, was caught between first and second base when he decided to make a run for it — and slammed into second baseman Stevenson.

Stevenson briefly laid on the ground and his teammates surrounded him before he popped up and looked to be fine.

Stevenson’s NFL career has been mostly injury free over five seasons. Last year, he missed three games due to a toe issue.

The running back scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LX, in the team’s 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
