Darby Cerbo has garnered a following of over 130,000 TikTok followers by sharing sneak peeks into her life with three jobs

She spends her days working as an ER nurse practitioner, a med spa medical director and the head of social media for the Arizona Cardinals cheerleading team

Cerbo — who was once an NFL cheerleader herself — says the key to maintaining balance in her life is good sleep, a meticulous calendar and a present mindset

On any given day, one could find Darcy Cerbo in three significantly different places when she executes one of her three jobs. If she's not in a hospital emergency room, a med spa or on the field of an NFL stadium, she might even be commuting between locations on one of her typically busy days.

The 33-year-old has established herself online by sharing day-in-the-life content about her trio of careers. In fact, with over 100,000 TikTok followers tuning in, Cerbo has somewhat of a fourth professional pursuit in her own content creation.

Otherwise, she serves as a medical director at a med spa — doing injectable treatments like Botox — works as an ER nurse practitioner and runs social media for the Arizona Cardinals NFL cheerleading team. She tells PEOPLE that the balancing act comes naturally to her.

"I feel like I've always been really cognizant of being a really, really good employee," she tells PEOPLE. "If I'm going to do multiple things, I want to put 130 percent into it."

Nursing came first, she explains. After graduating from nursing school in 2014, she joined the Cardinals squad as an actual cheerleader herself. She danced professionally with the NFL organization from about 2016 until 2021, then ultimately transitioned to her current role as their digital content curator.

The med spa gig sprang out of pure interest in the world of aesthetics and injectables, says Cerbo. However, her love for ER work has never waned, so she wasn't interested in a complete professional pivot toward spa treatments. Luckily, she found the perfect opportunity to have a hand in both worlds.

In the state of Arizona, med spas are required to employ a medical director who is either a doctor or a nurse. When her friends wanted to open up such a spot, they knew exactly who to ask to help make it happen. Cerbo seamlessly took on the extra responsibility.

Cerbo says every day and week "drastically varies" from the next. As she shares on TikTok, there are instances when she works all three positions in just one day.

"I feel like because the football schedule is all over the place, and then with the hospital, it's all over the place," she notes. "To give you an example, on Saturday, I worked at my hospital job until 2:00 [a.m.] into Sunday, and then we had game day on Sunday. So I went to the game a few hours after my shift ended to do [the Cardinals'] game day."

While it's certainly nice to have more than one income, Cerbo tells PEOPLE that her choice to live a multi-hyphenate lifestyle actually has no basis in finances.

"There is 100 percent a financial benefit to it, but that's 0 percent my driving factor at all," she says. "My nurse practitioner job would have me be more than fine; I just really enjoy doing lots of different things."

To be so busy and still stay happy, Cerbo relies on a combination of intentional actions. First, she's meticulous about keeping a calendar. She's "very good at sleeping" when the day is over, but during work hours, it's all about staying present.

"I take it day by day and in short increments. I'm not thinking about, 'Oh gosh, I have so many things to do in two weeks,' because that'll just completely overwhelm me," Cerbo shares. "I know what my week looks like, I know what my schedule looks like, and I try not to worry about things that haven't happened yet."
