Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly clashing over Hollywood. According to new claims, the Duchess of Sussex believes the Duke is letting major opportunities pass him by. Insiders believe Markle wants Harry to embrace the entertainment industry rather than keep it at arm’s length. The alleged disagreement comes as the couple continues searching for new ways to grow both their profile and their business ventures.

Star Magazine recently reported that Meghan Markle believes Prince Harry is missing out on “major paydays” because of his reluctance to embrace Hollywood. An insider claimed she has grown tired of watching opportunities pass him by and wants him to change course.

“What she wants is for him to stop acting like he’s above the whole Hollywood thing and start getting paid,” the source alleged. The insider added that there are “plenty of opportunities up for grabs” if Harry would let go of what was described as his “snobbish” outlook. However, the source insisted Markle is not asking Harry to give up the work that matters to him.

If anything, the insider claimed the “Suits” actress wants him to combine philanthropy with projects that generate income. According to the report, Markle remains supportive of Harry’s charitable efforts, particularly his work with the Invictus Games.

Even so, she allegedly believes there should be room for commercial ventures as well. “It can’t be all on her to support them,” the source said.

At the same time, the report suggests Markle believes Harry’s royal profile still holds significant value. According to the source, she has encouraged him to explore opportunities in podcasting and in film and television appearances. As the insider put it, she wants him to “find a way to monetize it.”

The “Spare” author, though, is said to view the situation differently. The source claimed he remains closely attached to his royal identity, despite stepping back from public duties in 2020. That seemed evident during a recent podcast appearance, where he referred to himself as “Prince of England” and “Duke.” From an insider’s perspective, Markle respects those titles but allegedly believes they should also help create new opportunities.
