Meghan Markle Makes a Sweet Gesture for Friend Kelly McKee Zajfen After Baby Boy's Birth

Meghan Markle's longtime friend Kelly McKee Zajfen shared a sweet surprise she received from the Duchess of Sussex

Meghan sent a beautiful bouquet of white garden roses to her friend, who welcomed a baby boy last week

Zajfen has been vocal about Meghan's support of her family, especially after the death of her 9-year-old son, Georgie, in 2022

Meghan Markle is sending support to her longtime friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, who just welcomed a new bundle of joy.

Zajden, 40, gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday, March 26, just one day after her own birthday. She announced the news on Instagram, calling her newborn son "the best birthday gift ever."

A week later, the Alliance of Moms co-founder shared a few gifts she had received from friends on her Instagram story, including a stunning bouquet of white blooms from Meghan, 44.

"Nothing like fresh cut garden roses next to your bedside," Zajfen captioned the shot, tagging the Duchess of Sussex's social media handle.

McKee Zajfen named her newborn son Jack Oliver, a tribute to a heartbreak that she and her husband, Julian, suffered a few years ago. The couple lost their son George Oliver in 2022 to COVID and viral meningitis when he was just 9 years old.

"Now they share the same middle name," McKee Zajfen continued in her caption, celebrating her newborn. The birth announcement also featured a photo of George's twin sister, Lily, cradling her new baby brother.

"This family of 5 is madly in love. Full of all the emotions and taking it all in. Thank you all for being apart of this journey and loving our family. I have felt carried and loved so very much and that’s what Community is all about. ❤️‍🩹," Zajfen wrote, joking, "Get ready for a lot of baby content 🙃💝."

McKee Zajfen announced her pregnancy in November 2025. In an Instagram post at the time, she wrote, "Sometimes… just sometimes… when you let light in through the broken pieces of your heart, love grows. 🌱 Baby boy coming this Spring. 💐"

She added, "The path here wasn’t easy, and yet love kept showing up in the smallest signs, the quietest moments, the light that refused to fade. This little soul is already so loved, a reminder that joy and grief can exist together… and that hope has a way of finding us again."

McKee Zajfen has previously shared insights into her longtime friendship with Meghan.

During a Q&A with followers on her Instagram story last fall, she named the Duchess of Sussex as one of her favorite accounts to follow as well as one of her favorite people.

"I've actually known her for almost 20 years?" McKee Zajfen wrote. "She even came to my wedding (15 years ago!), and she's been the most amazing, nurturing, fun, loving human."

"She's been by my side, especially since Georgie died, and I cherish our friendship very much," she added.
