Kyle Cooke is making it clear where he stands on the controversial romance between his now estranged wife, Amanda Batula, and their fellow "Summer House" costar West Wilson, who both confirmed they are together on March 31.
The Bravo community is riveted by the latest scandal, which partly stems from Batula announcing her separation from Cooke in January. On top of that, Wilson previously dated castmate Ciara Miller, who has been a close friend of Batula's.
In a video posted on Wednesday, April 1, Cooke told on-street TikTok creator Adam Glyn that Batula gave him a heads-up before she and Wilson shared matching statements.
Though Cooke clarified he is not justifying any behavior and admitted he is "obviously disappointed" in Batula, he urged the public not to harass her online, emphasizing her mental health. He also revealed that Wilson sent him a text message amidst the drama.
In 2025, Batula told USA TODAY that she had grappled with depression and said she would put her mental health first.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula attend Bravo's "Summer House" Season 10 at 92NY on January 28, 2026, in New York City.
"She's kind of getting cyberbullied, and at the end of the day, all I know is West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time," he said. "Somehow in all of this, like 50,000 people have decided that West deserves their follow. And meanwhile, they're just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad because, I mean, she knows that what she did was wrong and she's trying to come to terms with it, but she is not well."
He urged "Summer House" viewers, who he said predominantly consist of women, to "think twice" before giving Wilson a pass on the situation and to "let off the gas a little bit with the cyber bullying."

Kyle Cooke says, 'evidence started piling up'
Cooke wasn't completely caught off guard when he learned about Batula and Wilson's relationship.
"I mean, it's just like a series of events that, unfortunately, the evidence just kind of started piling up, piling up, piling up. I'll leave it at that," Cooke said.
He added: "Looking back, there's a lot of us [who've] been looking at his body language and, you know, how touchy and handsy he is with her and just kind of gave him a little bit of a hall pass like 'Oh, it's West.'"
"Summer House" is currently airing its 10th Season, which was filmed in the summer of 2025, with Episode 9 set to drop on Thursday, April 2. The season is showing Cooke and Batula's tumultuous relationship before they ended their marriage.
Cooke said, "There's still so much that we're watching from the summer. I don't know, I'm a little bit at a loss for words."
In their joint statement, Batula and Wilson said they have shown up for each other as friends "through all the highs and lows" over the years and were surprised when things recently developed into something neither of them expected.
"Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care," the statement read. "We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless."
