McKenna Barry is sharing a devastating loss.
On Monday, Dec. 15, the influencer announced she had a miscarriage by sharing the news on both her Instagram and TikTok accounts. In a statement shared over a photo of her living room, Barry said that she and her husband, Brian, are grieving their "little life" after going through an unconceivable loss — which happened after years of trying to conceive.
"Our world came crashing down last night as our little one decided it wasn't time to join us yet," Barry wrote. "No words are adequate enough to describe the depth of heartache we are drowning in, but I have no regret knowing the weight of our grief mirrors the profound joy we allowed ourselves to feel this last month."

"Our baby was celebrated and so, so wanted for every moment we knew they existed. We will forever cherish this sweet season of having the gift of being his/her mommy and daddy," she continued.
She then directly addressed their baby in the second part of her statement.
"To our baby: You were the smallest thing I've ever seen, but the hole you left is infinite. We're going to miss you — miss dreaming of a life with you. I'm so sorry I never got to hold you, but I find comfort in knowing you will be held by Jesus while you wait for us in Heaven," said Barry.
Barry then said she will be taking some time off social media to grieve and be with her husband Brian.

The influencer first announced she was pregnant earlier in December, sharing a few videos on her social media channels. "The day I found out I was pregnant 🫶🏼," Barry began her caption in one."A little backstory: I had taken two strip tests the day prior and the line was suuppppeerrrrrrr faint, so I had an inkling, but also feel like I wasn’t allowing myself to really believe it until I took a digital test and saw the word 'pregnant,'" she continued."This was such a precious moment for me. I was the only person in the world who knew. Just me and Jesus. I was (and still am) so infinitely thankful in that moment," wrote Barry. "So many emotions came in waves (as you can see on my face haha). It felt like my entire body went cold when I first saw 'pregnant,' in the best way. My body felt like it was in shock as I realized this was FINALLY happening for us after 6 1/2 years of waiting. 🥹."
